The Pere Marquette River has excellent fishing right now with snow all around, it's so beautiful here. The rain, and snow will be melting soon with the river at its bank. Water temps are in the 40's. The River is on the banks so wading is hard right now, a boat is definitely the way to go. Big Lake Fishing coming soon and Ludington, Michigan has been a focal point for fishing on Lake Michigan since the early 1970's. This is "Lake Michigans's Gold Coast" and has been the number one place to be fishing these past few years. With natural river mouths, warm shoal water, excellent offshore structure, close proximity to deep water, and the many currents, these waters are teeming with activity, making it an angler's paradise.
